(22-23 credits)
The Coaching minor is desirable for students interested in coaching at any age level. In Illinois, coaching is permitted with a teaching license. Non-licensed individuals must obtain an American Sports Education Program (ASEP) certificate. The minor in coaching can assist in satisfying this requirement if students choose to receive ASEP certification within the Coaching minor coursework.
