ELED 370 Methods in Elementary Science (K-6)
(XL: ELED 570) This course prepares preservice teachers to teach science in the elementary grades. Students will explore the principles and interrelationships among the various areas of science (life, physical, earth and space). Emphasis will be placed on purposeful planning, investigative and inquiry-based learning, and knowledge building. Course topics will include unit and lesson development, differentiated instruction and assessment, and integration of technology into instruction and learning.
