EDUC 350 Elementary Fine Arts Methods
XL: EDUC 550 This elementary methods course will identify essential questions that connect and integrate elementary subject areas with a focus on the fine arts. Students will examine learning and instruction in an interdisciplinary approach that focuses on fine arts curricular content and methodology; developmentally appropriate skills and thinking processes; and assessment strategies. Course topics will include lesson planning, identification of content-area methodologies, differentiated instruction, diverse student populations, the integration of current technology, and development of a standards-based interdisciplinary unit.
PRQ: Passing score on the Illinois Basic Skills Exam or the Test of Academic Proficiency (TAP) or the ACT Plus Writing/SAT composite.
