ANSO 150 Introduction to Sociology
This course will introduce students to the field of sociology. Students will learn how to apply their sociological imagination to their own lives as well as to contemporary social issues. Students will examine the following using a sociological lens: social structure, social relations, social interaction, cultural patterns, social institutions (family, religion, etc.), crime, deviance and social control, stratification, groups and organizations, and social change, among others.
