BSMS 326 Social Media & Marketing

This course introduces a variety of social media and Web concepts and tools from a business/marketing perspective, including social networks, blogs, wikis, podcasts, and more. Then it takes an in-depth look at the relationship between media and human behavior, and examines how organizations capitalize on social media, and these interactions, to support their marketing efforts. Students learn that social media is about marketing at the right time, place and with the right message for existing as well as prospective customers with both legal and ethical behaviors.
