ECON 100 Current Economic Issues

This course surveys some of the most important current issues in the United States and world economies. Topics include but are not limited to income inequality, poverty, discrimination, healthcare reform, climate change policies, international trade and tariffs, immigration, the internet economy, anti-trust policy. Basic economic principles are introduced and applied for an analysis of these issues, and implications of these issues for the broader economy and society are discussed. PRQ: None.
