EDUC 554 Elementary Math & Science Methods

XL: EDUC 354 This course focuses on the identification and selection of developmentally appropriate math and science methods for teaching and integrating mathematics and science in diverse elementary classrooms. Students will create and integrate instructional activities and lessons based upon research-based methodologies that motivate and engage elementary students in standards-based learning about counting and cardinality, operations and algebraic thinking, numbers and operations in Base Ten and fractions, measurement and data, and geometry, along with fundamental concepts of life, physical, and earth and space sciences.
