PHYS 328 Electromagnetics

Study of Electric fields and potential due to static charge distributions, concepts of vector analysis, capacitance. Study of magnetic fields with applications to magnetic force and inductance. Maxwell's equations, its consequences and applications to physical situations such as plane waves, radiation, wave guides, cavities, and transmission lines. Lecture 3 hours.
