SOCI 228 Introduction to Peace/ Conflict Studies

The purpose of this course is to deepen our understanding of the causes and consequences of war, violence, and conflict and of the means of conflict resolution and management. The course will explore the different approaches taken by the social sciences in the study of conflict resolution and management. (Note: Course satisfies major and minor requirements in Political Science, but does not satisfy major or minor requirements in Sociology.)
