SOCI 341 Terrorism

This course will examine terrorism and counterterrorism from the sociological perspective. Students will learn the history of terrorism, the motives and methods of terrorists, counterterrorist strategies, and the future of terrorism and counterterrorism. Students will learn how terrorism and terrorists are socially constructed in sociohistorical context and will participate in terrorist group and counterterrorism response simulations.
