SPED 352 Positive Behav Supports: Chronic Behav

XL: SPED 552 This course is designed to enable teacher candidates to design positive classroom environments, conduct functional assessments, and implement a variety of behavior plans (individual and group based) in classroom settings. Additionally candidates will examine behavioral theories of learning and assumptions related to discipline, legal mandates regarding the discipline of students with disabilities and the development of Behavior Intervention Plans as they relate to Functional Behavioral Assessments. PRQ: SPED 342; SPED 346; and passing score on the Illinois Basic Skills Exam, or the Test of Academic Proficiency (TAP), or the ACT Plus Writing/SAT composite. Scheduled: Fall, yearly Meets: N, O
