DANC 451 Criticism, Analysis, and Theory

A course focused on expanding the way that students view, write about, and discuss dance specifically and art in general. Students will be exposed to a wide range of performance experiences, both live and on film. Emphasis will be placed on describing, evaluating, and interpreting dance through multiple sociological and philosophical lenses.
