EDEC 574 Curriculum & Methods in Early Childhood

Taken the semester prior to student teaching, this course focuses upon the theory, curriculum, methods, and materials for developing creative, positive, and healthy environments in which young children can play and learn. Included are the pedagogical fundamentals of mathematics, science, social studies, music, and the arts for young children. PRQ: None. Scheduled: Fall and spring, yearly.
