HIST 107 World History I: to 1500 C.E.

This lecture and discussion course surveys global historical trends from cosmic beginnings to 1500 C.E. employing broadly thematic and comparative approaches. It centers on global trends such as the human revolution, migration, agricultural revolution, emergence of civilizations, rise and fall of empires, spread of wisdom traditions, and the accelerating exchanges between people and societies prior to extensive European colonization of the Americas.
