PHYS 202 University Physics II

An introductory course in physics geared towards students majoring in the physical sciences, physics minors and pre-engineering students. The content focusses on electricity, circuits, magnetism, optics and wave mechanics. Calculus is used in the development of these concepts. Concurrent registration in PHYS 202-Lab is mandatory. Lecture 3 hours; lab 3 hours. PRQ (Pre-requisites): PHYS 201 and MATH 231. Concurrent registration in MATH 231 may be allowed with permission from instructor.
