PHYS 317 Introduction to Quantum Mechanics
Modern theories of matter are studied by applying principles of quantum mechanics to atomic, molecular, nuclear, and solid state systems. Topics include introduction to Hilbert space, comparison of the Schrodinger and Heisenberg picture, bra and ket algebra. Lecture 3 hours.
