CRMJ 335 Gender & Crime
This course examines the intersection of gender/women and crime. The role of gender in offenders, victims and employees of the criminal justice system is explored. Theories of female criminality and the treatment of female offenders are also explored. Attention is given to the victimization of women, issues facing women of color, and the impact of current legislation.
