PHYS 201 University Physics I

An introductory course in physics geared towards students majoring in the physical sciences, physics minors and pre-engineering students. The content focuses on kinematics and motion, forces, energy, momentum, heat and thermodynamics. Calculus is used in the development of these concepts. Concurrent registration in PHYS 201-Lab is mandatory. Lecture 3 hours; lab 3 hours.

PRQ: MATH 230 or permission of instructor.
CO-RQ: PHYS 201-Lab.
