SOCI 260 Qualitative Social Science Methods

An introduction to qualitative methodology employed by social scientists. An introduction to basic research concepts including identifying variables and developing hypotheses. Students will learn qualitative methods including participant observation, ethnography, interviewing, content analysis, needs assessment, and coding.
