Registration for New Students
Students can either register online or in person at Student Administrative Services (SAS). Students must provide the following information to register for a class:
- Name
- Address
- Date of birth
- Phone number
- E-mail address
- Complete course information
Upon completion of registration, students must do the following:
- Make satisfactory payment arrangements for their student account in Student Administrative Services (SAS) located in Nelson Hall. Where applicable, students must provide a completed tuition reimbursement form. Payment may be made by credit card, check or cash at SAS. (See Payment of Fees section). - Obtain a student ID from SAS. A valid ID allows students to use the library, fitness center, and to purchase Rockford University theater and sporting event tickets at a discount.
- Obtain a parking sticker. This can be done online through the portal at the Department of Public Safety/Vehicle Registration Form. Pickup at the office of Student Life, 1st floor Burpee Center.
- Buy or rent required books online at rockford.textbookx.com
- Provide proof of immunization against measles, mumps, rubella, diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis, and the recommended hepatitis B. When a student registers for more than one college-level class, they must show proof of immunization obtained from a high school or college health record or family physician.
