EDUC 435 Practicum III: Internship to Stud. Teach

(XL EDUC 535)  This course provides a culminating opportunity for students to integrate research-based knowledge, best practices skills, and content knowledge from the elementary program coursework into the classroom setting. Students will focus on effective teaching based on subject matter knowledge and subject-specific pedagogy, self-reflection, knowledge of one’s students, and involvement of students in monitoring their learning. Requires 50 hours of professional field experience in the elementary classroom.
