MBA 672 Data Analytics

Data analytics is an essential part of business decision-making. This course provides an introduction to quantitative methods to understand consumer behavior and markets and to develop business policies accordingly. Topics include foundational concepts of data visualization, sources of data, survey design, experiments, descriptive and inferential statistics, and linear and logistic regression. An introduction to supervised learning will be the last part of the class. Standard and open-source statistical packages as well as Excel are used to apply techniques to real-world problems.
