NURS 201 Foundations of Person-Centered Care

This course introduces the student to the foundational skills of the professional nurse. Course content includes the application of the nursing process, and critical thinking, communication, and therapeutic interventions in the provision of person-centered care. Concepts, values, skills and competencies inherent in professional nursing are explored. The primary focus is on the adult client of diverse cultural backgrounds.
