International Admission
Rockford University recruits international students. Admissibility is determined after an applicant has submitted the following materials for review to the Office of Global Affairs.
- Completed international application for admission
- Non-refundable application fee
- Official copy of U.S. university transcript for students who have competed a bachelor’s degree in the U.S.
- Official copy of international university transcript for student who have completed a bachelor’s degree outside of the U.S.
- Any transcripts, which are in a language other than English, need to be submitted with an official English translation
- Rockford University reserves the right to require a NACES evaluation of any non-US transcript
- Appropriate TOEFL or IELTS
- Appropriate TOEFL scores
- Proof of financial support by providing the following documents:
- Official copy of a financial document such as a bank statement, certificate or signed letter issued by a financial institution no more than 30 days old by the time of application demonstrating that the applicant has on deposit or available in liquid funds the required minimum amount of money necessary for one year of study.
- In cases when the financial documents are not in the name of the applicant:
- A notarized Rockford University Affidavit of Support form signed by the non-US residing financial sponsor
OR
- An I-134 Affidavit of Support form* signed by the US resident sponsor. *US-based sponsors must use the valid I-134 Affidavit of Support form available on the USCIS website: www.uscis.gov/i-134
