Scholarships

Our merit scholarships are designed to reward those students who have been academically dedicated and engaged in their educational experience. These scholarships are awarded each year to the new incoming first-year and transfer students who attend full-time. The awards below represent the awarding scale for Fall 2023-Spring 2024. All GPAs are calculated on a 4.0 scale.

  • Charles & Dianna Colman Scholarship: Award amounts are up to full tuition. This scholarship may be awarded to high-achieving students with a GPA above 3.75. Eligible students will be contacted regarding additional steps needed to apply. These scholarships are limited in number and awarded to students admitted by December 21.
  • Trustee Scholarship: Award amounts are up to 75% of tuition. This scholarship may be awarded to high-achieving students with a GPA above 3.5. Eligible students will be contacted regarding additional steps needed to apply. These scholarships are limited in number and awarded to students admitted by December 21.
  • Deans Scholarship: First-year students with a GPA of 3.8 or higher may receive up to $19,000 annually. Transfer students with a 3.7 GPA or higher may receive up to $16,000 annually.
  • Phi Theta Kappa Award: Transfer students who can demonstrate membership in Phi Theta Kappa may be awarded up to $16,000 annually.
  • Academic Excellence Scholarship: First-year students with a GPA between 3.40 and 3.799 may receive up to $17,000 annually. Transfer students with a GPA between 3.25 and 3.699 may receive up to $14,000 annually.
  • Founders Award: First-year students with a GPA between 3.0 and 3.399 may receive up to $16,000 annually. Transfer students with a GPA between 2.75 and 3.249 may receive up to $13,000 annually.
  • Recognition Award: First-year students with a GPA between 2.65 and 2.999 may receive up to $15,000 annually. Transfer students with a GPA between 2.4 and 2.749 may receive up to $12,000 annually.
  • Regent Award: First-year students with a GPA below 2.65 may receive up to $12,000 annually. Transfer students with a GPA below 2.4 may receive up to $10,000 annually.
  • Pfeffer Scholarship supports an incoming female first-year student majoring in science or math who intends to pursue a course of study that would lead her to a career in medicine or medical research.
