Licensed teachers with Elementary, Secondary, or K-22 endorsements are eligible to acquire an LBS1 endorsement upon completion of 18 hours of LBS1 course work and a passing score on the Illinois LBS1 Content Area Exam (155). The endorsement is for grades K-22. An Early Childhood Special Education approval (PreK only) is embedded in the Early Childhood initial Licensure program.
