EDEC 554 Math Methods for Early Childhood

(XL: EDEC 354)  This course applies the principles of child development to the instruction of mathematical concepts, including number sense and operations, algebraic thinking, measurement and data, and geometry  for young children (birth through second grade). Students will learn how to develop problem-solving skills in young children through inquiry-based learning using developmentally appropriate and culturally relevant lessons and activities.
