MBA 542 Supply Chain Management

The course provides an understanding of how organizations use Supply Chain Management (SCM) to become more efficient, faster, and productive. The course will look at the management of supply chains by understanding a strategic framework for analyzing supply chains, the role of transportation in a supply chain, planning and coordinating the demand forecasting alongside sales and operations planning, levers to improve coordination, and managing uncertainty using safety inventory. Students will develop a framework for analyzing supply chains and identifying potential improvements in supply chains.
