NURS 405 Nursing Care of the Geriatric Client

This course focuses on factors influencing the normal health and functional ability of the geriatric client. Problems in this population are discussed with emphasis on management for continuity and safety. Content includes legal, ethical, economic, social, and political issues impacting the geriatric client. A variety of caregiver roles is discussed.

PRQ: NURS 411, NURS 414, NURS 416, NURS 494, and NURS 495. Concurrent enrollment is permitted in NURS 414, NURS 494, and NURS 495.
Scheduled: Fall and Spring, yearly.
Meets: N (W for RN-BSN Majors)
