PSYC 226 Data Analysis in the Social Sciences

This hands-on course introduces students of social and behavioral sciences to some of the most common approaches to data analysis used in research. Students will learn a variety of data management techniques, including descriptive and inferential statistical analyses. Also, students will learn techniques for interpreting and reporting results. Students will learn to use some of the most widely available software programs used for data analysis in the social and behavioral sciences. A final grade of C- or above must be earned in this course to qualify for PSYC 495 Senior Seminar.

PRQ: MATH 223 or MATH 224 (students must earn a grade of C- or above).
