BIOL 318 Paleoecology

Students will assist the Burpee Museum of Natural History crew for ten days in their search for fossils at sites near Hanksville, Utah. Lectures before the trip will cover topics related to the geology, paleontology, and ecology of the site. Before going to the field, students will also spend one lab period a week at the Burpee Museum assisting the staff in specimen preparation and study. This course is part of the conservation and wildlife track.
