BSAD 230 Introduction to Data Visualization
This course introduces students to the fundamentals of creating effective data visualizations to analyze and communicate information. Students will gain hands-on experience using Microsoft Power BI—or another comparable data visualization platform—to import, clean, model, and present data. The course emphasizes visual clarity, simplification, audience-specific communication, and the ethical representation of data. By the end of the course, students will be able to design and deliver compelling, interactive dashboards and visual narratives that support decision-making in professional and academic settings.
