DATA 573 Health Analytics
This course introduces key concepts and techniques in health analytics, equipping students with the skills to leverage clinical and population health data for informed decision-making. It covers data governance, ethical and legal considerations in healthcare data, and methods for ensuring data quality. In this course, students will work with data from case studies to extract insights from healthcare data, apply various clinical data analysis methods, and make scientific interpretations of the results. Hands-on experience is offered with industry-relevant tools such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, MySQL, and R.
