HDEV 355 Trauma and Resilience
This course examines the impact of trauma across different stages of life and the role of resilience in recovery. Topics include adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), intimate partner violence, war-related trauma, and systemic oppression. Students will explore trauma’s psychological, biological, and social effects, as well as evidence-based interventions for individual and interpersonal healing and resilience-building.
