PSYC 351 Psychology of Gender
This course will examine the sociocultural, cognitive, and biological influences of gender on human development. Focus will be on the theories, research, and lived experience of individuals across the gender spectrum as related to their psychological health and well-being. Topics included in the course are gender and culture, identity and expression, roles, socialization and relationships, stereotypes, discrimination and violence, and psychopathology and treatment.
