EDUC 406 Student Teaching Seminar
(XL: EDUC 506) To be taken concurrently with EDUC 409 Student Teaching I and EDUC 410 Student Teaching II. This weekly seminar for undergraduate students provides direct mentoring support by Rockford University supervisors and helps student teachers develop techniques related to teaching methods, procedures, and problem solving in the student teaching setting. Emphasis is on self-assessment, professional development, and reflection.
PRQ: Senior standing; acceptance into student teaching.
Scheduled: Fall and spring, yearly.
