NURS 180 LPN to BSN Role Development
This course develops and expands licensed professional nurses' (LPNs) theoretical, clinical and professional knowledge and skills. Interprofessional health care theories, nursing theories and models are explored and their impact on health care analyzed. Professional roles within the health care delivery systems are considered. Health promotion, maintenance, disease and illness prevention are addressed. Advanced nursing skills along with written and verbal communication are expanded and evaluated.
