Biochemistry - Pharmacy, B.S.

Rockford University (RU) and the University of Illinois Chicago-Retzky College of Pharmacy (UIC-COP) have created a 3+4 PharmD pathway that supports RU students that aspire to earn a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. The 3+4 PharmD pathway prepares RU students for pharmacy school in just 3 years, providing qualified students a guaranteed interview for admission to UIC's PharmD program. Qualified students who are accepted can choose to attend UIC's Rockford campus or Chicago campus for their final 4 years of coursework. Upon successfully completing the first year of the College of Pharmacy PharmD program, RU will automatically apply up to 30 credit hours from the College of Pharmacy for students to complete the requirements of an RU baccalaureate degree with a major in biochemistry and a pharmacy concentration.
