Lang Center for Health, Wellness, Counseling, and Disability Services
Immunizations
The Health Center is a strong advocate for immunization of diseases that affect college students, and sponsors programs to make these easily available and accessible. The Health Center offers the state mandated immunizations for diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis, measles, mumps, rubella, and the recommended hepatitis B. Students require proof of immunization to register for classes. For the immunization policy and complete compliance information (with printable forms) please refer to the University website. In addition, Lang also provides the screenings needed for other campus programs like Education.
Health and Counseling
Nurses and Counselors are available at Lang Center to assist with access to treatment for minor illness and injury. There is a physician clinic once per week for treatment and physical exams. Counselors are also available at no charge to students to help with the many emotional and psychological issues that may occur when adjusting back to college life.
Disability Support Services
Any student who received academic accommodations during his or her undergraduate program may apply for academic accommodations in the graduate programs. Complete information and application may be found on our website or by contacting Lang Center.
Student Health Insurance
Student health insurance plans are available to Graduate Students. The student plan meets the requirements of the Affordable Care Act. Please contact the Health Center or visit the website for plan and cost information.
