EDUC 501 Teaching Methods (K-6)
Introduces various teaching methods, including lesson planning and presentation, discussion skills, assessment, learning packets, and developing units. Emphasis on meeting the needs of all students.
PRQ: To be taken in the semester prior to student teaching and passing score on the Illinois Basic Skills Exam or the Test of Academic Proficiency (TAP) or the ACT Plus Writing/SAT composite.
Scheduled: Fall and spring, yearly.
