HIST 356 Modern Russia
Internal policies, foreign policies and intellectual developments in Russia from the early 19th through the mid-20th century. Possible topics include the reforms of Alexander II, the Russian peasantry, the emergency of Russian radicalism, the revolutions of 1905 and 1917, Stalinism, and post-Stalin Russia.
