NURS 321 Research and Evidence-Based Practice

Focus on research as a systematic process for application and evaluation of scientific evidence. Identification of practice issues, appraisal, evaluation, and integration of evidence into practice will be emphasized. The course content will include the levels of evidence used to determine quality of research and the significance for use in nursing practice. This course provides a foundation for more complex application at the graduate level. PRQ: NURS 201, NURS 202, NURS 273, NURS 306, NURS 308, and NURS 373. Concurrent enrolment in NURS 306. NURS 308, and NURS 373 is permitted. Scheduled: Fall and Spring yearly. Summer on request. Meets: N (W for RN-BSN Majors)
