HIST 207 Sexuality in European History

This course engages with a diverse set of approaches to the history of sexuality in Europe since the Enlightenment. Issues include the gender order, femininity and masculinity, LGBTQ and ‘straight’ issues, class, race, nation, religion, economics, political ideologies and government, colonialisms, war, feminisms and counter-movements. Can be used toward the Gender Studies minor. PRQ: None. Scheduled: every other year. Meets: SNO.
