NURS 420 Concepts of Adult Health Nursing III

Current evidence and clinical practice standards focusing on nursing care of adult clients with acute and complex health conditions. This course is designed to develop the student’s knowledge and skills in the areas of musculoskeletal, integumentary, hematology, and oncology. Content includes ethical, palliative, end-of-life and trauma care. The emphasis is on enhancing critical thinking skills necessary for making sound nursing judgments and the demonstration of self-direction, confidence and competence in providing nursing care for the adult client with medical-surgical health alterations.
