NURS 495 Senior Seminar

This course focuses on the synthesis of the roles of the generalist nurse at the completion of baccalaureate education and transitioning to practice. This course allows for application of principles of leadership and management in collaboration with others within health care systems in the development of a quality improvement project. The course includes a capstone project for students in a community, acute care, or long-term healthcare setting to support the knowledge application, skill development and refinement, and role development in transition to practice. PRQ: NURS 403, NURS 411, NURS 414, NURS 416, and NURS 494. Concurrent enrolment is permitted for NURS 403, NURS 414, and NURS 494. Scheduled: Fall and Spring, yearly. Meets: N (W for RN-BSN Students)
