BIOL 329 Introduction to Marine Science Lab
Students will go down to the University of Georgia Marine Institute over Spring Break. There they will do both lab and field exercises in marine ecology. Potential activities include trawls, plankton and fish sampling, salt marsh and beach surveys, fish behavioral observations, and hydroacoustics. Depending on time, students will also travel along the Southeastern Atlantic coast to further examples of Atlantic coastal marine habitats.
PRQ: Concurrent enrollment in Biol 328 and permission of instructor
