EDEC 350 Curr Instr Planning PK K-2
XL: EDEC 550 This course provides an overview of the planning, preparation, and delivery of a developmentally appropriate curriculum for prekindergarten and early elementary children. The role of the teacher and the curriculum in supporting the development of the whole child will be analyzed. Implementation of integrated and thematic curriculum across language and literacy, arts, social studies, STEM, health, and physical education through an examination of data driven instruction and learning will be practiced. An emphasis on differentiation, supports and accommodations to meet the needs of diverse learners will be practiced.
