HDEV 220 Introduction to Human Services
Human Service requires an understanding of the developmental issues within a culture as impacted by socioeconomic, political, familial, and interpersonal climates. This course will approach human services as both a profession and academic discipline, as students explore the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to develop into culturally competent service providers. Attention will be given to ethical responses to the individual and group needs of specific vulnerable populations.
