HDEV 262 Nutrition &Pharmacology for Older Adults
Contemporary issues and controversies in nutrition as it applies to the aging body. Students also will gain an understanding of the significant impact medications have on the functioning of the older adult from metabolism to behavioral outcomes. This course will be taught from an interdisciplinary perspective and provides depth of scientific knowledge and practical skills for discerning what is safe and healthy to put in one's body.
