PHYS 105 Fundamentals of Physics I

A beginning course in physics geared towards life-sciences majors. The content focusses on kinematics and motion, forces, energy, momentum, waves and sound, and heat and thermodynamics. Algebra and trigonometry is used in the development of these concepts. Concurrent registration in PHYS 105-Lab is mandatory. Lecture 3 hours; lab 3 hours. PRQ (Pre-requisites): MATH 120.
